Meetings

The most recent meeting was held July 11th. About 15 members and a guest joined to share news, do a “round robin” reading of poems, and two rounds of workshopping. Announcements

Towpath member Roberta Beary presented a sold-out writing workshop, “How To Haibun,” at the International Flash Fiction Festival in Bristol, England on July 17, 2026. Beary also discussed their craft book  *Haibun: A Writer’s Guide*, co-authored with Lew Watts and Rich Youmans, with Ad Hoc Fiction publisher Jude Higgins. The presentation included a short reading by Roberta Beary from their recent haibun collection, CRAZY BITCHES (MacQ Books, 2025), a HSA Merit Book Award 2026 winner and Touchstone Award finalist.
