Haibun: A Writer’s Guide (Ad Hoc Fiction, 2023) coauthored by Roberta Beary, Lew Watts and Rich Youmans, won the HSA Merit Book Award for Best Prose.

Roberta Beary, in their role as Roving Ambassador for the Haiku Foundation (THF), recently met up with poet and writer kjmunro (Kathy), recipient of the Borealis Prize and THF Haiku Dialogue creator, at Buswells Hotel Dublin, Ireland. Their meeting was followed by a gathering organized by seashores founder & editor Gilles Fabre at which Kathy read a selection of her writings, including haiku from her collection contractions (Red Moon Press). Haiku poets from near and far also enjoyed a St Stephen’s Green ginko led by Dublin Haiku Salon founder Maeve O’Sullivan.
