Roberta Beary won Grand Prize in the 28th “Kusamakura” International Haiku Competition, Foreign Language Category. This is Roberta’s second Grand Prize in this competition, having previously won in 2005. Their winning poem this year is

war zone
a soldier unhands
the firefly 

Additionally, “Clouds in Paper,” a collection of haibun on the theme of interbeing curated by Ryland Shengzhi Li, was published recently and is available at The Young Buddhist Editorial.
