Towpath member Julie Bloss Kelsey won an Honourable Mention at the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Haiku Invitational, for her poem

And Towpath member Roberta Beary won an Award of Excellence in the ITO EN Shinhaiku contest, for their poem

closed for repairs
 cherry blossoms
       fill
the hotel pool

Roberta also gave an online workshop titled “How to Haibun: Roberta Beary in Conversation with Jude Higgins,” on October 28th. More information can be found at Flash Fiction Festival.
